About
About Lound
Lound is a voice-first AI journal for people who think out loud. You press record and talk; Lound transcribes, organizes, and over time shows you what keeps repeating in your own words. It is a self-reflection tool, not therapy and not a medical device.
Who writes this
Lound is built by a small team that thinks by talking and built the app it wanted for that. The team writes and edits the blog, uses AI tools for drafting and research, and checks every comparison and science claim against its source before it goes live. If something is wrong, email and it gets fixed.
How the blog is researched
- Science, health, and privacy claims link to primary or official sources. If we cannot find one, we say so or leave the claim out.
- Comparison pages are checked against each product's official site, pricing page, and app listing, and show the date they were last verified.
- When a competitor is better for a use case, we say that. Recommending the wrong app to the wrong person helps nobody.
- Posts show an "Updated" date when prices, features, or recommendations materially change.
What Lound is not
Lound does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional mental health care. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line. See the FAQ and privacy policy for how audio and entries are handled.
