Journey
Cross-platform diary app from Two App Studio with cloud sync, coach programs, mood tracking, and an optional GPT-based Odyssey AI that answers questions about your entries.
- Input
- Voice input uses your keyboard or OS dictation (the microphone key on iOS and Android, Start Dictation on Mac). Paid users can also record audio notes up to 10 minutes as attachments on mobile and desktop (not on the web app), but Journey does not document transcription of those recordings.
- AI
- Odyssey AI is a GPT-based chat that answers questions about your past entries (patterns, moods, trips) with a daily question cap: 10 per day on Free and Premium, 50 per day on Membership. It is opt-in and off by default, needs at least 10 entries in Journey Cloud Sync, and is not available on Google Drive sync, self-hosted sync, or end-to-end encrypted sync. The App Store listing also describes on-device "Reflections" that suggest follow-up questions on an entry. There are also 60+ guided coach programs and templates, plus a five-option mood picker with a 30-day and yearly mood chart.
- Platforms
- iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, Linux, Web, ChromeOS
- Pricing
- Free tier with limits (60 entries and 70MB on Journey Cloud Sync, limited photo uploads, no audio or video). Premium is a one-time license per platform ($17.99 on the App Store) that unlocks full media uploads and end-to-end encryption but keeps the 60-entry / 70MB sync limit. Membership unlocks all platforms and web services (10GB and 5,000 entries of sync, coach programs, templates, cloud print and export, Zapier) at $6.99/mo or $49.99/yr, with a $199 lifetime option. Prices vary by region and platform.
